The mythical Ferrari,
Lamborghini,
Maserati,
Pagani and Ducati
Factories were all started and developed within an incredibly small radius
of 25 km situated in the lower Emilian plains. There, in a strategic
position between Bologna and Modena, MOTORSTARS was born and is located
today. |
 |
Until today, any motor enthusiast who didn’t live in the lower Emilian
plains, but who however was interested in getting to know the mechanical
engineering facilities present in the area, would have dedicated a large
part of his free time to scrupulously planning itineraries to the cities
around Bologna and Modena.
He would have had to do a lot of research to
find out about the opening hours for the various motorcycle and car museums
and probably would have had to search for information in magazines and in
newspapers, hoping, in the end, to adventurously succeed in seeing
everything in the little time he had at his disposal. |

MOTORSTARS
proposes itself as the coordinator of this particular and select type of
tourism in Modena, Bologna and in the Emilia Romagna region. Thanks to
people who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about motors, MOTORSTARS
proposes different activities, including it’s exclusive personalized daily

Directions
to and from Bologna |
|
Bologna is a well-connected city.
It is easy
to reach by plane, car or train. Moreover, given it's moderate size of
about half a million people it does not have the traffic and clutter
like Milan or Rome.
By plane
Bologna
has also a convenient airport, called Aeroporto Guglielmo
Marconi di Bologna (BLQ),
to the North West of the city and has frequent flight with all other
major European destinations. It is connected to the city centre and
train station by the Aerobus, which runs every 20 minutes and takes
about twenty minutes. Flight information service (open from 5.00am
to 12pm)
is also available at the telephone number +39 051-6479615.
Other airports in the neighbourhood of Bologna are
Verona (VRN) and Forlì (FRL).
By train
The
central train station of Bologna is located to the North of the city
centre and from the train station
"Via
Indipendenza" brings you immediately to the
main square "Piazza Maggiore"
in about 10 minutes
walking. Bologna is somewhat of a hub for trains and you can catch
many convenient trains from here. To Milan (1h
45min), Venice (1h 35min)
or Florence (59 minutes)
you can take many Eurostar trains
(ES) or more convenient IC (intercity)
trains. If you want to visit Rome from Bologna, it is
worthwhile taking an Eurostar train which gets you there in a stunning
2h
40min .
