Brazilian GP - A
memorable race
Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe
Massa scored a phenomenal one-two in Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix on
the outskirts of Sao Paulo for the Finn to clinch the 2007 World
Drivers' Championship by one tiny point. It was a cliff-hanging race,
dominated by the Ferraris but their ultimate fate would be decided by
the positions of their two championship rivals at McLaren Mercedes.
While they were chased home by Fernando Alonso, championship leader
Lewis Hamilton lost places on the first lap, and then slipped to the
back of the field as he was slowed by a gear shift problem which he was
able to rectify eventually to finish seventh, a point behind Raikkonen

Chinese GP - Hopes
alive for Championship
Kimi Raikkonen scored a 9.8s
second win over Fernando Alonso in the Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday to
keep his and Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro's hopes alive in the 2007 Formula
One World Championship as major rival Lewis Hamilton slid off the pit
access lane after 30 laps of the 56 lap race. Raikkonen was backed up by
Felipe Massa in third place. The race was full of drama as it started on
a wet track - but not as wet as Fuji the weekend before - dried out
before a small shower dampened it again around half distance. It then
dried out again to the finish

Japanese GP - Third
and Sixth place
Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe
Massa finished a fighting third and sixth in Sunday's pacaked Japanese
Grand Prix at Fuji, but felt that they had been robbed of a better
result after having to make an extra pit stop to change to extreme wet
tyres. The race started behind the safety car due to very wet weather;
it controlled the race until lap 19 of the 67 lap race. Both Ferraris
had started on wet rather than extreme wet tyres. However, the FIA had
notified all teams by e-mail that cars should start on extreme tyres, an
e-mail that Ferrari only received after the race had started

Belgian GP - A
resounding one-two
Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro
are unbeatable in the 2007 Constructors' championship following Sunday's
resounding one-two in the sunny Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.
McLaren's points have been taken away following the FIA World Council
judgement on Thursday. Ferrari have 161 points to BMW Sauber's 90, so
they are now uncatchable

Third place for
Raikkonen at Monza
Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro
salvaged third place in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza on Sunday as the
McLaren Mercedes team sailed to a dominant one-two - Fernando Alonso
ahead of Lewis Hamilton - as dominant as Ferrari had been two weeks
earlier in Turkey. Kimi Raikkonen finished third, suffering from the
after-effects of his huge practice accident as he found difficulty in
keeping his head upright during the final stages of the race. Felipe
Massa, sadly was one of two retirements after just ten laps of the race

One-two for Scuderia
Ferrari Marlboro
Felipe Massa and Kimi
Raikkonen scored a resounding one-two in Sunday's boiling hot Turkish
Grand Prix on the outskirts of Istanbul on Sunday. With McLaren's
Fernando Alonso finishing a distant third, and teammate Lewis Hamilton
in fifth place after a puncture, Ferrari's drivers moved to within 15
points of championship leader Hamilton and ten points of Alonso. In the
Constructors' championship, Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro is just eleven
points behind McLaren Mercedes with five races to go (text and picture by

Second place for Kimi
Raikkonen
Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro
moved to within 19 points of Championship leaders McLaren Mercedes after
Kimi Raikkonen scored eight points for Ferrari at the Hungarian Grand
Prix yesterday and McLaren failed to score. This followed a stewards'
ruling against McLaren after they were judged to have imposed orders
which cost Lewis Hamilton the chance of a second qualifying run in the
third session of qualifying (text and picture by

A race strongly
conditioned by the weather conditions
Ferrari team principal Jean
Todt says that there will be no change to the team's approach to the
final seven races in the championship, after Sunday's second place
finish to Ferrari in the European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring. "I
don't think it changes anything," said Todt, after Ferrari's Felipe
Massa finished second to McLaren's Fernando Alonso. "I don't think we
can say that we have made an easy approach to all the races since the
beginning of the championship. So we will keep trying to do the same
job, we will try to improve the performance of the car and of course,
try to resolve reliability problems when we know where to put the
effort." (text and picture by

Win at competitors'
home
Kimi Raikkonen defeated the
home McLaren Mercedes team in front of a partisan crowd at Silverstone
on Sunday to maintain the gap in the World Championship between Ferrari
and McLaren, but for him to close on drivers Fernando Alonso and Lewis
Hamilton, who finished second and third. All three drivers led at
varying stages of the race, but it was Raikkonen who emerged first after
the second round of tyre stops. Unfortunately, teammate Felipe Massa
stalled at the first start and had to join from the pit lane, but
stormed through the field to finish fifth (text and picture by

scarcely made a wrong move as he raced to a debut victory in Sunday's

was an action-packed race in which there were no less than four pace
cars (text and picture by

McLaren Mercedes drivers
Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton scored a dominant one-two in Sunday's
mainly sunny Monaco Grand Prix, but Felipe Massa was happy to salvage
third place - and the only other unlapped runner - to keep his and
Ferrari's championship hopes alive. The McLaren pair were in a class of
their own, finishing a whole minute ahead of their rivals. In a largely
processional race of just three retirements, the McLaren pair were
content to claim first and second, even though Hamilton suggested that
he had the quicker car at the start of the third stint. But then he
pointed out that he had number two on his car, and was thus the second
driver. Ferrari's second driver, Kimi Raikkonen, was handicapped from
the start after hitting the barrier in qualifying, starting sixteenth on
the grid, and claiming a single point with eighth place at the end

Ferrari's Felipe Massa
scored a resounding second consecutive win in the Spanish Grand Prix at
the Circuit de Catalunya on Sunday to put himself firmly in contention
for the World Championship. He led home McLaren's Lewis Hamilton by 6.7s
although the margin had been nearly twenty seconds earlier in the race.
The young Briton becomes the youngest driver ever to lead the World
Championship, two points ahead of teammate Fernando Alonso, while Massa
is a just a point further back, but Ferrari's joy at victory was offset
against the disappointment of the retirement of former joint
championship leader Kimi Raikkonen with a suspected electrical fault

Felipe Massa drove an almost

Grand Prix at Sakhir on Sunday. He and Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen
fought a tremendous battle with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Fernando
Alonso, the Briton finishing second and becoming the first driver ever
to finish on the podium three times in his first three Grands Prix.
However, Fernando Alonso, beaten into fifth by BMW's Nick Heidfeld,
holds onto to the points lead, sharing with Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis
Hamilton! (text and picture by

The F2007 is the fifty third
single-seater built by Ferrari specifically to compete in the Formula 1
World Championship. The project, known internally as the 658, represents the
Scuderia's interpretation of the technical regulations that apply for 2007,
with changes principally concerning safety, through the introduction of more
stringent front and rear crash tests and the addition of a composite
material structure to provide lateral protection to the sides of the driver.
These modifications have led to a significant increase in the weight of the
car, in the region of just under ten kilogrammes (text and picture by
Ferrari Media Center).
